Nurture Spa Village Meals!

With all the relaxation and peacefulness that one can get from this piece of heaven, one's tummy must be filled too. And with my last weekend stay here at Nurture Spa Village in Tagaytay City, I'm sharing to you guys the meals that I had...

Get ready to salivate!

Upon our arrival, we were welcome by the sweet smiles of the staff of Nurture Spa Village and with these smile was this sweetest breakfast that I really enjoyed.

Sticky Rice with Mango and Hot Chocolate

It's been years since I had this kind of breakfast, and now, having it on a cool place like Tagaytay, the taste and the experience made more delicious.

Cafe Mesa at Clark, Pampangga

Located at Mimosa Leisure Park  at Clark, Pampangga, this simple yet very elegant European-inspired coffee house was our last spot for the 16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival trip we had last February 12, 2011 - Cafe Mesa.

If I'm not mistaken, this was one of the US Army houses during the World War time which was renovated and now caters to the gastronomic needs of our Air Force soldiers, their families and guests who spent some leisure time in the area.

El Kabayo at Clark, Pampangga

Part of the itinerary we had for our trip to the 16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival, which took place last February 10 to 13 at Clark, Pampangga, was to visit this Western-themed restaurant that my friend May Ann was bragging about to us for about for almost a year now - the El Kabayo.

Specifically located at Gil Puyat Avenue corner Panday Pira, Clark Freeport Zone, this is where we had our Western lunch before we hit the venue and see those flying light bulbs.

New Pizza and Pasta Love from Figaro!

Aside from the the outstanding coffee experience that one can have from Figaro, their new set of dishes will surely hit the spot for your "Italian gastronomic cravings".

Presenting, the newest addition to Figaro's delectable dishes - Perfectly Pizza and Prepared Fresh Pasta!

Wee!

I'm a huge pizza and pasta lover. I like my pizza topped with a lot of cheese and I like my pasta still hot when served. And I found these criteria on these Figaro's new dishes - two thumbs up!

Okay, at first I was really astounded, shocked to know that they now have pizza. I mean, hello, pizza and coffee? W-E-I-R-D!

Rai Rai Ken: The Best of Both Worlds

The last time I’ve been to a Rai Rai Ken: Ramen House and Sushi Bar branch was like sometime between “I can’t remember when” and “I already forgot”. It’s been some Jurassic years in which I can’t really remember. I dunno why, but the only excuse that I have in my mind is, I barely see a Rai Rai Ken: Ramen House, that’s why.

And last week, I’m glad and surprised at the same time to receive an invitation to dine in its Finlandia, Makati branch. I was like, “Really? Rai Rai Ken? The Ramen House?”

I didn’t know that they have this huge-space branch there. So, when I finally arrived at the said venue, I was really shocked to see that there was indeed a Rai Rai Ken there. Hahaha. Stupid me, I’ve been passing on that area from time to time and never notice this establishment. Hahaha!

Alodia Gosiengfiao's Otako Bar and Taparazzi

Who would think that the well-known cosplayer in the land is a big food lover, right?

As I got to visit the first Friday opening of Midnight Mercato Centrale at The Fort, Taguig, I was really surprised to see Alodia Gosiengfiao there.

Dial 922-2222 for Angel's Delivery!

Since my sked requires me to stay in the office till past dinner, sometimes I don't have any other choice but to get a quick dinner at a convenient store or have my food delivered.

And last night, I got so hungry and my palette was craving for some pizza and pasta. But since payday is up until next week, I don't have any other choice but to get something that will fit to my budget. Little do I know that Angel's Pizza is now offering a fantastic pocket-friendly, tummy-filler Pasta in a Dough!

Don't be confuse and let me explain what a Pasta in a Dough is.

Pasta in a Dough is a satisfying collaboration of Angel's Pizza's pizzas topped with you perfect choice of pasta.

Get it? If you still don't  get it, here's an example.

Sofitel's Spiral is the L-O-V-E!

I know that there are a lot of people or couples out there who are already planning what to do, where to go or what to eat on Valentine's Day. And I know that there are a lot of them who are willing to spend so much just to prove how much they love their partners...

If that's the case, I think to truly enjoy your hard-earned money and to surely put a smile on the face of your love one, treat him/her to an eye-catching, mouth-watering and tummy-filling Spiral buffet.

Only available at Sofitel Manila's Spiral Restaurant, I've been to a lot of hotel buffet offerings and I still think that when it comes to price, location, wide variety and taste, Spiral still holds my most favourite buffet place in Manila.

How could you resist the very inviting ambiance of Sofitel and its over whelming display of wonderful dishes from the different parts of the world, right?

New All-Day Breakfast from Figaro!

Last year, I shared on my Recycle Bin of a Middle Child blog my experience with Figaro's All-Day Breakfast by Chef Karl Marxist Tan. I'm proud to say that I enjoyed tasting those breakfast meals that they prepared for us that day, especially the Gourmet Crispy Tuyo.

But, unfortunately, just like any teleseryes, some dishes have to bid goodbye. But let us not worry, because as some things ought to bid farewell, there's always some thing new that comes around.

Malcolm’s Burger: Not Just Some Hole in the Wall

Last payday, as I and my officemate Rio usually do, we treat ourselves to something nice and tummy-filling. This time, our hungry stomach and freshly-packed wallets led us to this new burger joint in Makati - Malcolm’s Burger.

It may seem your typical hole-in-the-wall burger joint, but wait till you get a taste of their offerings.

I believe Malcolm’s Burger has been in the business for quite some time now, unfortunately, last week was just my first time to try their dishes, and I’d say that it’s worth the wait.
