If there's second cuisine that we, Filipinos, would consider, I guess, there's no doubt that it would the amazing Chinese cuisine. Since their colonization, our country has been one of the steaming post of Chinese delicacies in Asia, that's why no wonder that in every town here in our country, there's that small but really filling Chinese restaurant ready to serve you with oily but delicious Chinese treats. And now, SM Manila brings another Chinese cuisine option ready to kick your hunger and fill your tummy with sumptuous delights - Kung Fu Kitchen - Feasts of Fury!

Peacefully situated at the 4th level of SM Manila, Kung Fu Kitchen is another themed-restaurant from the masters of theme restaurants Raymund Magdaluyo and Marvin Agustin. Turning Japanese-ah at Marriott Manila!

Do you love Japanese food? Those cute and the really tasty makis, those fresh and pinkish salmon and those rich in color and volume meals? Well, I do love them too, that's why when Marriott Manila announced that they are opening of their sizzling Teppanyaki Station, a Lafanggero must do what he must do - Lafang time!

Using the modern teppanyaki grills, which are propane-heated flat surface grills, Marriott Manila offers the typical selection that local and international guests can enjoy. There's the Gyuniko (diced beef tenderloin with vegetable in teppanyaki sauce); Tori (diced chickem with vegetable in teppanyaki sauce); Shake Teppanyaki (teppan salmon fillet with vegetable in special sauce); and Kaisen (mixed seafood with vegetable is sweet and spicy garlic sauce).

Marriott Café's Teppanyaki Station is the latest addition to the amazing buffet dinner offering of this five-star hotel. Priced at Php1750.00, their buffet includes this grilling that only serves the freshest and meaty choices of seafood, fish, beef, pork, and chicken. This star station of Marriott Cafe promises to give the tastiest and most satisfying grilled dinner that you've ever wanted.

Eating Organic? It's more Fun in the Philippines!

I drink, but just occasionally, and one of those occasions is videoke session with friends. That's why when we were invited by the Costales Nature Farms, which can be found in Majayjay, Laguna, to sing-along with them during our stay there, well, what better way to enjoy a night of music than with the freshest of the freshest of their bounty - organically, btw.

And that night, aside from organic pulutan, it was also my frist time to try Lambanog!

I prefer red wine or tequila or beer, actually, but since Costales Nature Farms promotes nothing but our own gifts of nature in a VERY organic way possible, almost every food that I tried here were if not served fresh were cooked in a very different way to keep the taste, nutrients and wonderful look intact.

When we arrived there, since it was already lunch time, we were served with these really drooling Filipino dishes.

Staff said that their meals here in Costales Nature Farms were prepared in a very safe and healthy way. No preservatives, no MSG and gradual use of salt, which at first gave me doubt if they will taste good.
