Turning Japanese-ah at Marriott Manila!

Do you love Japanese food? Those cute and the really tasty makis, those fresh and pinkish salmon and those rich in color and volume meals? Well, I do love them too, that's why when Marriott Manila announced that they are opening of their sizzling Teppanyaki Station, a Lafanggero must do what he must do - Lafang time!

Using the modern teppanyaki grills, which are propane-heated flat surface grills, Marriott Manila offers the typical selection that local and international guests can enjoy. There's the Gyuniko (diced beef tenderloin with vegetable in teppanyaki sauce); Tori (diced chickem with vegetable in teppanyaki sauce); Shake Teppanyaki (teppan salmon fillet with vegetable in special sauce); and Kaisen (mixed seafood with vegetable is sweet and spicy garlic sauce).

Marriott Café's Teppanyaki Station is the latest addition to the amazing buffet dinner offering of this five-star hotel. Priced at Php1750.00, their buffet includes this grilling that only serves the freshest and meaty choices of seafood, fish, beef, pork, and chicken. This star station of Marriott Cafe promises to give the tastiest and most satisfying grilled dinner that you've ever wanted.

Marriott Hotel Manila's Worldwide Thai Dinner

If there's one reason why one should keep coming back to M Cafe of Marriott Hotel Manila, that will be the really great variety of Thais dishes in their buffet station. I mean, if you are really up for some spicy and flavorful Thai food, this is one of the best places in the metro that you can indulge into.

And last night, I got a chance to challenge again my appetite and my palette as Marriott Hotel Manila joined to this one-night celebration of Thai cuisine as they participate to the Worldwide Thai Dinner Party.

Flavors of Thailand: The Marriott Hotel’s Thai Food Festival

Happening from August 1 to 31, this Thai Food Festival entitled Flavors of Thailand will showcase the outstanding culinary talent of Chef Thanathorn Krobsuay of JW Marriott Bangkok at Marriott Café.

Brought to us by Marriot Hotel Manila and in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Embassy of Thailand and Thai Airways, they flew in one of Thailand’s best chefs to share with us Chef Thanathorn’s wonderful talent in cooking authentic Thai dishes and fill our tummies with nothing but Thailand’s best foods.

Price of this buffet is a little expensive, but one thing is for sure, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., you’ll get to indulge to the most appetizing and delectable dishes Marriott Café has to offer, in simplest form – eat all you can, and one I’m sure you’ll crave for is the Thai cuisine.

And last night, it was a pleasure to be one of the bloggers who got to attend Marriott’s Thai Food Fest.

As Marriott Café was addorned with some Thai artworks and as receptionist dressed in Thai outfits, we were treated to a sumptuous Thai feast that we will never forget.
