Trying Out Minerva's Cajun Shack of Murray's New Orleans

With thousand of new and different food establishments in and outside the metropolis, I wouldn't be shocked to know how our taste becomes more discriminating and tends to look for something better. But come to think of it, there are some old place that needs revisiting - for all we know, they have new dishes ready to fill our tummies and bring back the happiness we once love from them. 

Last week, I had a chance to visit Shangri-La  Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong City. A haven for authentic and truly sophisticated spots - from clothing line, home accessories and even to food, Shangri-La now houses the lady of the famous restaurant Murray's New Orleans - the Minerva's Cajun Shack.

A Whole New Greenwich Pizzeria!

Great news! Aside from their sumptuous and really comforting dishes - this includes the tastiest Greenwich Lasagna Supreme - one of the country's leading pizza chain is happy to announce and to welcome everyone to their newest "hangout" spot, the Greenwich Pizzeria in SM North EDSA.

Sharing a mid-century. fresh and modern pizza house, Greenwich Pizzeria is opened to the public just this summer to give their regular patrons a unique dining experience suited to their impeccable taste. Aiming to transport every guest to this "whole new world" kind of thing, Greenwich Pizzeria completes the experience with its interior reminiscent of a familiar and homey feel.

I must say that the new look is so creative that it made me realize that every corner is Instagram-friendly. Though I cannot remember if the place offers free Wi-Fi then, but having a free connection, I guess would give justice to beauty of the place. 

Parmigiano Traditional Italian Plate

Located at the second level of Resorts World Newport, Parmigiano Ristorante Pizzeria is an Italian pizzeria that serves authentic Italian dishes and specializes in its one of a kind Napoletana Pizza. Named after the famous cheese – the Parmigiano-Reggiano or commonly known as Parmesan, Parmigiano is currently offering Traditional Italian Plate prepared by Chef Giovan Guiseppe Ferrandino.

Parmigiano offers Italian dishes that are infused with this renowned ingredient. Parmigiano 

Boasting of its signature Napoletana-style crust pizza which is cooked at a minimum of 90 seconds, Parmigiano's famous and crowd favorite pizza shares a crisp edge and a soft and chewy middle. Other popular favorites that you may try here are Tre Salsiccia, Quatro Formaggi and Gamberetti con Rucola. Other authentic Italian classics that are being served are Bistecca Alla Florentina, Pasta Al Aragosta, Risotto Ala Parmigiana, and Panna Cotta.

Malbec World Day 2014

It may not be the biggest wine event in the world now, but soon, I'm pretty sure that Malbec World Day will conquer the world and make a noise that deserves to receive some attention and respect.

Last April 24, I spent a night enjoying and discovering Argentina, specifically it's region Mendoza, through a showcase of Argentine wines popularly known as Malbec. Hosted by the Argentine Embassy in the Philippines, Malbec World Day 2014 in Manila took place at the Top of Citi in Makati City.

A number of wine enthusiasts and sommeliers filled the venue along with the stalls of wine cellars from Metro Manila that offers the best of Argentina, when it comes to wines. If I'm not mistaken there were about 10-20 stalls that night that shared the best of Argentine wine - including sparkling, white and red.

Kogi Bulgogi's Korean Chicken - Now Available!

Some great things are just hard to resist. Like the tasty and crunchy Korea's KPOP Chicken. Good thing, our favorite Korean restaurant, Kogi Bulgogi, is finally offering the Korean Fried Chicken!

Kogi Bulgogi has join in the chicken craze and they are now offering their own version of the juicy, crunchy and tasty Korean Fried chicken. The name came up when they thought of Korea’s popular chicken, hence the name KPOP Chicken.
