A Cup of Tea and More at New World Hotel

A cup of tea is not just what awaits to New World Hotel's guests and walk-ins, because with the launch of their Afternoon Tea treat, one, two or a group can enjoy the three delectable and fun afternoon offerings that New World Hotel's The Lounge has now have.

Perfect to make your summer afternoon more enticing and relaxing, New World Hotel recently launched their Afternoon Tea that offers three sets of really enjoyable and colorful afternoon treats that is sure to sooth your mood - Chocolate Afternoon Tea, Strawberry Afternoon Tea and Coffee Afternoon Tea.

And last week, in the middle of our busy skeds, together with some friends, I was able to try these luscious treats that I find quite reasonable when it comes to its price at Php995.00.

Everyday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., sweet and savory delicacies matched with a selection of teas and coffees can be enjoyed by two to four persons at this Afternoon Tea. Guests can also opt to indulge further and have two glasses of Piper Heidsieck Champagne together with their goodies for only Php1,795.00.

The Chocolate Afternoon Tea comes with dark chocolate cheese cake, cocoa tartlets, white milk chocolate cream, chocolate trilogy millefeuille, Chocolate éclair, assorted finger sandwiches, chocolate scones, chocolate empanadas and chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

While the Coffee Afternoon Tea, this set has coffee cheese cake, tartlets, white coffee and vanilla cream coffee millefeuille, coffee éclair, assorted finger sandwiches, coffee scones, coffee empanadas and coffee and vanilla ice cream

And lastly, the Strawberry Afternoon Tea set is composed of strawberry cheese cake, strawberry tartlets, strawberry millefeuille, poached strawberry in dark chocolate, assorted finger sandwiches, strawberry scones, strawberry empanadas and strawberry and vanilla ice cream.

Luckily, I was able to try all of those three sets that afternoon. And despite of me being a huge chocolate lover, I find the Strawberry Afternoon Tea set more enticing, maybe because its summer and my palette already adjusted to that "refreshing" flavor that we all love during this hot season. :-) And, yeah, if you opt for that tea option, I highly suggest that you have this set.

But if you want a more classy afternoon, try the one with champagne, and I suggest that you have the Chocolate Afternoon Tea set. I enjoyed the chocolate scones and chocolate empanadas from this set, so, yeah, chocolate galore afternoon is perfect to perk you up to finish the day with more positive vibes.
