Brown's Restaurant is nestled at the very heart of what used to be an old jeepney terminal, The Portal. A place that offers a variety of food shops that you can enjoy and indulge on your visit here at Greenfield District all day. From breakfast, lunch and dinner, they made sure that we'll find the right spot for us to enjoy their lush greenery in the morning and amazing and lovely events at night.
The day I visited Brown's Restaurant, everything looks in place, but one of the owners who was there that time told us that they are still in a soft launch, so he informed us that our order may take some time, but he'll make sure that everything will be delicious and enjoyable.

If you have been to Maginhawa Street in Quezon City, another famous foodie spot in the metropolis, you'd be delighted that the ambiance here at Brown's is as cozy and homey as those food joints there. I like how well the place was thought of and how seeming modern it looks despite of the use of wood and other earthly colors.

A great way to start one's adventure here at Brown's is by having their luscious and lovely colored shakes. By the looks and colors of them, they can set an appetizing mood that you could enjoy. Match it with their fresh salads that come in these to-share serving sizes, your meal will be as enjoyable as you wish they could be - and healthier too!

For some more interesting flavor, Brown's Croquette shares a comforting crunch that is nice and homey. You'll love their dip as it gives the croquette a nice blend empowering the explosive flavors inside it.

Speaking of explosive flavors, Brown's omelette rice meals are by far the best omelette rice I've tried. Those wonderful flavors all wrapped inside, teasing everyone with its inviting aroma and peaking ingredients.

I am surprised that I loved their smoked fish and olives omm rice. The balanced flavor of everything in it and the how well it was presented - simple but looks satisfying - I love it! But if you want that speaks Pinoy, well, their Pinakbet Omm Rice is a good option too - something homey and comforting too.
Roasted Tomatoes Pasta - Php165.00
If you are not up for some rice or heavy meal, the roasted tomato pasta is a good choice after having their healthy salad. The fresh ingredients gave a justice to this whole meal. Light, simple but right on the smack of your pasta cravings.
But more than anything else, Brown's most popular and must-try meal is this buttermilk fried chicken that spells nothing but comfort with a gourmet feel at the same time. A combination of something sweet, peppery and charred, their chicken is just as enjoyable as those you could find in high-end restaurants. The best thing, its more affordable!

Brown's Restaurant is just one of the newest restaurants tat you could find in Greenfield District, Mandaluyong City.
If you are looking for a nice place that offers a homey ambiance and straightforward, comfort food, Brown's is definitely the one.
