Sumo Sam opens at SM Manila

Indeed, there are more and much more reasons to visit one of the best situated malls in town, because with the addition of Sumo Sam in SM City Manila, aside from the great finds, every Manileño can now indulge to the modernized Japanese offerings made by actor-turned-restaurateur Marvin Agustin.

Last week, together with some Manila-base bloggers, I was invited to dine at the newly opened Sumo Sam branch at the Level 4 of SM City Manila. And just like how I enjoyed dining on its other branches, Sumo Sam offers a wide array or delectable Japanese dishes perfect for anyone's budget!

From my all-time favorite Sumo Sam Green Thumb, Yoki-Kiri Starters, Rice N' Sun, Rikishi Grills, Frying Kick, Yokozuna Picks, Temaki Sashimi, and Sushi, Sumo Sam Mawashi, Grilled Seafood to dishes that are for sharing like on the list of Sumo Donburi, Sumo Sam SM Manila is finally here in the center of Manila City  to boost excited Manila foodies with delight that they'll keep coming back.

Angel's Pizza's Lenten Share

Not that to make Lenten Season more exciting, since we all know that this season should be all bout repenting for our sins and practicing abstinence and fasting, but after tasting these delectable offerings from Angel's Pizza Pasta Combo, I guess, eating a non-meat pizza is somehow to keep us going.

Last week, I had another pizza indulgence at Angel's Pizza Pasta Combo in Makati Avenue, Makati City. I'm honestly doubtful if I'm gonna enjoy it because I'm really controlling myself from eating a lot, but when I saw how mouthwatering these two new flavors - Garlic and Shrimp and the Margherita - I couldn't help but to ask for more hot sauce! Haha!

Great to make your hard-work days a little relaxing, the Margherita offers a nice bite of freshness from its hot out-of-the-over crust perfectly giving the red sauce and basil leaf that nice bite that any vegetarian could appreciate. I was able to taste something like this before, and I must say that no matter what, may it be thick crust or thin crust, the burst of healthiness from the aroma of the basil leaf is something that I will always enjoy.

Taters: That Snack You Just Love to Have!

I'm not a movie goer, really. But if there's a movie that I wanna watch, I made sure that I'm one of those crazy peeps falling in to see that. And of course, I also made sure that I go inside the movie house ready. And by ready, I mean with some snacks on my hands to make the experience more fulfilling. And of course, one snack that I won't deny I got addicted is the Taters potato chips!

I mean, who wouldn't get addicted with that Sour Cream flavor that gives you that pleasing taste that always - ALWAYS - match to the movies theme, may it be comedy, action, sci-fi or drama. But did you know that aside from these amazing healthy snack, Taters has also mouth-watering sandwiches that are equally delicious!

Last day, despite of my attempt to step back from anything that is so delicious since I'm on a controlled diet, I sunk my fangs to these Taters' delicious sandwiches that I find fitting for the Lenten Season too. I just opted for the one that looks light for my tummy actually, and to my surprise, I never thought that I'll enjoy it!

Chef Bernard.Com: A Name You'll Love to Taste

He was a former model turned chef after studying at Le Cordon Bleu, and luckily, he chose to go back home after years of residing in Pasadena, California to let us taste his masterpieces that truly speaks of his Ilonggo blood. Chef Bernard Banares recently opens his first restaurant in the heart of Makati for us to enjoy the wonderful fusion of food and style and he calls it simply Chef Bernard.Com.

Located at the the ground floor of Greenbelt Radissons Building in Aguirre Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City, Chef Bernard.Com offers a delectable fusion of Asian and Filipino cuisine as it gives its guests fast, affordable, unique and delicious offerings that is set to be healthy and with a modern twist.

I was able to try some of its dishes last week, and though I must say that I do have high expectations from this place after knowing that this is co-owned by renowned designer and HRM degree holder Randy Ortiz, upon entering the place - well, actually, upon seeing the place from the outside, I already know that I'm in for a great treat.

Friday Chillin' Out at Murray's New Orleans BHS

It's Friday, and what better way to enjoy the last day another loaded work week than to chillax in one of the most convenient and hippest spot in town - the Bonifachio High Street! And with the selection of great food spots, Murray's New Orleans brought DJ Kida in the house to add a more relaxing and enjoyable Friday night  that is sure to put every workaholic at chill!

Last Friday, together with some friends and office mates, we headed to the "upper east side" to pamper ourselves with nothing but great food and good music at Murray's New Orleans, Bonifacio High Street. 

Dubbed as Chill Out Friday, which starts at 10 in the evening, up and rising star in DJing industry, DJ Kida, showcased her wonderful talent as well as New Orleans very own The Mardigrettes, who never fails to make the night sizzles.
