Joseph and Jaemark is back!

For those who don’t any idea what Joseph and Jaemark is, this is a place back in the late 80s to early 90s where celebrities used to dine in and enjoy a sumptuous and top of the class Filipino dishes. It was then located in Pasay City near Cuneta Astrodome, where people, celebrities alike, spent most of their, watching the B game.

And now, as the food industry in the country boot up again, the most love Tuna place is back with a better place at the very heart of Quezon City.

Fellas, let us all welcome Joseph and Jaemark’s Family Grill.

If you want try an all-Filipino feast with all of its distinctive flavours, drive now to J&J!

On my first experience to this newly revived place, I was quite not sure with what outstanding dish that they have to offer. First, the name of the place is quite a so-so to me. I mean, it’s not that catchy, especially to those who don’t know its history.

Reyes Barbecue Stopover

If there’s one dish that any family shouldn’t miss, especially a Filipino family, that’s the pasta dish. May it be red or white sauce, pasta is a must-have in any Filipino party. BELIEVE ME!

And last week, Reyes Barbecue, despite of its so-so name, came up with something perfect for every Filipino family – Creamy Chicken Fettuccini and Party-Size Barbecue.

I know how life seems so busy nowadays, so no wonder why these food establishments are coming up with these helpful treats that can ease our lives and at the same time fill our tummies with great food.

Celebrate Good Morning with Seattle’s Best Coffee

I’m a big fan of Grey’s Anatomy. Not only do I love the storyline and the characters in every episode, but I also love the wonderful skylines and sceneries of Seattle, Washington.

And so, when I received an invitation to have breakfast at Seattle’s Best Coffee, there’s only one answer that best fits to that – YES, I’d come!

I’m honestly saying that I’m no fan of SBC. Not that I don’t like their coffee, it’s just that most of my friends prepare the other brand. But now, with this wonderful gathering that I experienced where I got to taste their latest offering, I think I’ll have a selling point to my friends to take them here and have a taste of this latest dishes and drinks.

Lechon Pizza by Pizza Hut, WTF!

That was my expression when I first saw their ad on TV. I, being a huge pizza lover, just felt sick when I saw that advertisement. What on earth was that? Who the hell would that? For sure the taste of that Pizza Hut's Lechon Pizza is just so gooey.

But I was wrong… ALL WRONG!

The Sweet Surrender 2010

I got to attend the Sweet Surrender dessert exhibit of Good Fellas Production, which was held last week at Sitio Elena at the far, far away land of Taytay, Rizal. It took me two hours to get there from our home in Tondo, and hell, yeah, it’s all worth the effort!

There were around 10 exhibitors there who showcased and shared their mouth-watering creations. They are, Med Chef, Ernaline’s Food Haven, Dragonfly Desserts, Gigi’s Custaroons, Bardeli’s Deli and Liquor Mart, The High School Cook Book, Desserts Avenue, Muffins by Doris and there’s Chef Laudico’s BFast, too, who served as the guest judge for the mini contest that the organizers had for this exhibit.

GoodFellas Steaks and Burger

If there’s one steak house that I’ve been dreading to try these past few days, that’ll be Good Fellas Steaks and Burgers at Kamuning Road in Quezon City.

I’ve been hearing a lot of “not-so-good” stuff about this place, and now that I’ve got an invitation to try this place and experience the Good Fellas taste and style, I think it’s time to somehow prove them wrong.

On my first-ever visit, we tried different stuff from every category of their menu.
