Melting with the La Piadina's Heart & Soul
When speaking of delicious and affordable "Food Court" food, I bet mall rats would have La Piadina on top of their lists. With its heartwarming and almost authentic Italian look and flavor, Filipino's love for Italian food was hyped up even more when Chef Giorgio Matera, La Piadina's heart and soul - opened its first store at the food court of Glorietta in Ayala Center, Makati City.
T'was 12 years ago when our favorite Italian dishes were launched in a hole-in-a-wall concept at Glorietta's food court, Food Choices. Featuring new and exciting menu from four select regions in Italy - Puglia, Emilia Romagna, Piemonte and Toscana - La Piadina's Chef Giorgio shares his greatness in cooking Italian dishes together with his wife, who by the way love our country so much.
Fueled by his passion for Italian food, he took the challenge of venturing into the fast food business, believing that food whether expensive or inexpensive, fine, casual or fast food must always be fresh and of the best quality.

Millie's: The Taste of Splendid Travels
Being a traveler, one thing that I consider when I'm about to see a place is the food that it offers. Having a country surrounded by water means a lot specially to culinary arts, hence no wonder in every region, we have different dishes that speak of our culture and heritage. But that idea also applies to the whole world where every continent and every country has their own cuisine that shows their uniqueness, as well as the bountifulness of their country. And if given enough money and time, I would definitely do what Millie Del Rosario did, to travel the world and experience and taste the every culture and heritage that it has to offer.
I've been hearing and reading a lot of stuff about Microtel. It was in Baguio City where I first noticed its name and surprisingly after some months, the brand is already in here Manila, specifically in SM Mall of Asia Complex, offering its homey, cozy and world-class accommodation that suits to every traveler of the world.
I've been to a lot of hotel in and out of the metropolis, and I must say that even though most of them offers an almost the same amenities and comfort, one stands out when we start talking about the food that they offer. Of course there are the Shangri-La Hotels, Sofitels and others that with their distinct accommodation and food offerings, I wouldn't wonder why local and international tourists prefer staying at these luxury hotels. But did you know that sometimes, you don't really have to spend too much? Specially that there these kinds of hotels - like Microtel - that offers not only a satisfying accommodation but also a tummy-filling dining experience that is sure to leave you with no hesitation at all.

Gambino: Italian Cuisine at the Heart of BGC
If there's a list of people's name that foodies have in mind when it comes to great dining experience, good service and unique offering, I believe Marvin Agustin is probably on top it. With his contribution to restaurateur business in the country, people started appreciating food on it modernized style, hence Marvin has made a huge comeback in the limelight but with a more delectable appeal.
And recently, in line with his great restaurants, Marvin opened his latest baby and named it Gambino.
A classic and yet modern take on Italian Cuisine is what this new place has to offer. Situated at the very heart of Bonifacio Global City, Gambino is located at the very circle of Burgos Circle, joining other famous dining places that made a name out of their unique offerings.
I was invited a few days ago there to experience this fancy place that is standing in a two-story establishment and can cater up to 70 people.

Boracay: Aria Gelato Italian Ice Cream
I know that one of the greatest reasons why we keep visiting Boracay, world’s top 4 destinations, is because we wanna experience the heat of the sun in a very good and enjoyable way. But did you know that enjoying the sun in a very “cool” way is so easy to do too here? And it comes with the word “delicious” too! Two words, Aria Gelato.
When I got to visit Boracay, I didn’t have the most ideal weather back then. There were a lot of times that it was cloudy, and there were those that the sun is shining the brightest. And during those times that the sun is shining the brightest, I took the opportunity to have a delectable and heat-beating gelato that you could find on the island.
Gelato has been a household name for years now, and in Boracay, you can have some by juts visiting the mini spot of Aria, which is located at the D Mall, Station 2.
