I was there on its opening night, and despite the fact that the place was a little crowded, it was so nice to know that there were really a lot of great choices therea- actually all of them were great! And albeit the seats and tables were limited too, since the people here just come, eat and go a little fast than expected, we had a great time dining and enjoying what this place has to offer.

Juice Up with Dole this Christmas!
Diet is probably one of the hardest things to do this Christmas other than waking up early and taking a bath, right? Hahaha! But don't you worry, because I just found a more rejuvenating and beautifying way to keep our tummies feel energized and sexier. Presenting the Dole Juice Up!
While some health and beauty buffs are too busy looking out for an energy drink that can help them boost their energy and keep them beautiful and sexy, us, lafanggeros, need not to worry this tummy-filling season, because with the all-natural drink that serves the same purpose – Rejuvenate and Inner Beauty are its main target.
A new alternative to your daily pick-me-upper, Dole Rejuvenate is the all-natural pineapple juice you've grown to love, now infused with active ingredients of Ginseng and Guarana. It gives you the same energizing effect with the usual revitalizing goodness and freshness of pineapple juice.

Blackbeard's Seafood Island now at Robinsons Magnolia
Seafood lovers in the southern Quezon City area will surely have a tummy-filling Christmas because by the opening of the new hotspot in their area, Robinsons Magnolia, I'm sure that a bountiful of awesome food finds in awaiting for them. And with the opening of one of the hottest and delicious seafood-offering restaurants here, its definitely gonna be an amazing seafood adventure with Blackbeard's Seafood Island.
Last December 2, I was invited to witness again the opening of Seafood Island's latest branch in Robinsons Magnolia in Quezon City. And together with a number of guest and foodies, who were so eager to dive into the wonderful offerings of this renowned restaurant, Mr. Raymund Magdaluyo and his mother, Mrs. Chiqui Magdaluyo, welcomed their guests to a fight that will their tummies.
For quite a number of times that I've been to a Red Crab Group of Companies' event, if I'm not mistaken, this is the first time that I've seen and met the woman behind all of these wonderful restaurants. For those who didn't know yet, it was Mrs. Chiqui was the one who started all of these seafood craze in the country, and with his only son, Raymund dealing with the business side then, the company grew larger and larger and branched out to different kinds such as Crustasia, ClawDaddy's and this, Blackbeard's Seafood Island, to name a few.

Mongolian Wednesday at Q Bistro
What better way to celebrate the midweek than to have a plate full of goodies that are sure to heat your cold and clenching slave stomach in a real classy yet comfortable place that offers the most affordable kind. Hey, Q Bistro in Ortigas is offering a Mongolian Buffet for Php295.00 only!
It's Wednesday tomorrow, and just like Q Bistro's tradition, Wednesday is the day for Mongolian Buffet. Offering pork, beef, chicken and fish - yes, they have fish here instead of seafood - Q Bistro's Mongolian Buffet every Wednesday is a feast every visitor of Ortigas Business District must experience!
Available from 11 in the morning til 2 in the afternoon, this Mongolian Buffet was my sunshine last Wednesday when I visited the highly urbanized Ortigas District. This is my first time to try a Mongolian buffet in the metro, so I'm not really expecting that much.

More of East Asian Cuisine from Hong Kong Roast Jupiter!
It's been a year now since I first indulged to the wonderful Hong Kong flavor brought to us by business woman Mary Chan. Her dishes and Hong Kong Roast Food Express' menu was inspired by her travels and gustatory adventures abroad providing a pocket of sincere, casual Chinese dining in the middle of busy, impersonal Makati.
Hong Kong Roast started out as a side business for Mary Chan, but after the raves from her really delicious offerings, Hong Kong Roast is happy to announce that they are branching out now to make more hungry Filipino happy.
And few weeks ago, I had my first dining experience at their re-opened store in Jupiter Street, in Makati City. Specifically located at the corner of Jupiter and Galaxy Streets, Hong Kong Roast Food Express offers a classy yet homey Chinese dining experience that will delight every hard-working employee in this side of town.

My First Hop to Kangaroo Jack
It was at SM North EDSA when I first saw this store named Kangaroo Jack actually, and though I wasn't able to try it then, I'm glad that my first enjoyable dinner from this place took place at SM City Baguio, where the ambiance is definitely relaxing and eating delicious food is a must-do - every hour! Hahaha!
Kangaroo Jack is the latest addition to the growing casual dining place in SM City Baguio. Located at the veranda on the left side of the mall, leading to Starbucks, Kangaroo Jack just opened a few months ago offering mostly American dishes ready to heat up and fill your tummies one dish at a time.

Lovely Occasions with Little Bites
A few weeks ago, I have this huge problem. With only few days left on my hand to give my aunt a somehow lovely 60th birthday celebration, I still don't have a cake for her. My aunt, who is one of the best aunts in the world, deserves nothing but the loveliest kind on her birthday, and thankfully upon scanning every bakeshop page on Facebook, I stumbled upon Little Bites.
I've tried their offerings before when I checked out the Ultimate Taste Test 9.0 at Soderno last August, so I'm pretty sure that the taste would be great, but one of the many problems when it comes to ordering from reputable and in-demand bakeshops like Little Bites is their schedule. Thankfully, their owner, who is sweeter and lovelier than her goodies, accepted and granted my rush order. :-)
Cupcakes paved its way to the market back in 2009, and since then, the demand of these delectable and really cute pieces are that high, that's why no wonder a lot of people now turned their baking hobby into a business by putting up their own bakeshop online, and Little Bites is now one of them. Managed and owned by housewife and mom Cham Castejon Niduaza, Little Bites range of products runs from cakes, cupcakes, cake pops (cake lollipops) and crinkles.

Something New from Sumo Sam!
It's good when we get news that our favorite restaurant is starting to conquer the world by branching out, but I believe it's better when we get to know that they are adding more delicious and mouth-watering dishes to their menu. Sumo Sam lovers, all eyes here, please, because I'm about to share to you the new reasons to keep coming back to our own of most loved Japanese restaurant!
Last week, I was invited to witness the unveiling of not just one but four sumptuous new meals that you can order from the 18 branches of Sumo Sam in the country starting now. And with as good as it smells, everyone was treated to a luncheon of Japanese delights that I myself can still vividly remember! Hahaha!
Starting with the the new four sumptuous pizzas dishes that are ready to challenge your palette and prepared for you to crave for more. Comes in three different flavors that I myself couldn't believe that it would be that great!

Finding and Enjoying the Hidden Q Bistro
I dunno how come that a chic and oozing-with-delectable-dishes place like Q Bistro haven't caught any foodies' eyes and palette yet? I mean, the place was like a mine of gold placed under our noses and yet when I checked online, I barely see any write up about it? Oh, come on, guys, don't tell me that a Php425.00 roast beef and salad buffet doesn't sound appealing? Hehehe!
Last week, on a surprisingly not-so-busy Friday noon time in Ortigas, I spent my lunch in this small and semi-private place called Q Bistro. Situated near Podium Mall, this swanky restaurant is owned and managed by lawyer-chef Ameera "Mia" Katigbak Capay, 32, who is also the chef of The Malayan Plaza Hotel, a condotel that's servicing guests of this highly-urbanized district.
Q Bistro is under the roof of The Malayan Plaza Hotel, which is a few steps from Podium and SM Megamall. And just like I said, the place is a quiet on a not-so-busy Street of Opal, opposite of Oakwood Premier Manila Hotel.
Finding this place isn't really hard, because once you reached The Malayan Plaza Hotel, guards there will lead you to this heavenly place ready to fill you hungry tummy at a very affordable price!
