Something New from Sumo Sam!

It's good when we get news that our favorite restaurant is starting to conquer the world by branching out, but I believe it's better when we get to know that they are adding more delicious and mouth-watering dishes to their menu. Sumo Sam lovers, all eyes here, please, because I'm about to share to you the new reasons to keep coming back to our own of most loved Japanese restaurant!

Last week, I was invited to witness the unveiling of not just one but four sumptuous new meals that you can order from the 18 branches of Sumo Sam in the country starting now. And with as good as it smells, everyone was treated to a luncheon of Japanese delights that I myself can still vividly remember! Hahaha!

Starting with the the new four sumptuous pizzas dishes that are ready to challenge your palette and prepared for you to crave for more. Comes in three different flavors that I myself couldn't believe that it would be that great!

Shrimp Enoki

Kani and Cheese

I was only able to taste two of the three flavors, but I must say that both are cheesy goodness, while the crusts are thin and crunchy which added more fun in every bite!

For some unique Japanese feasting, Sumo Sam, headed by its owner, Marvin Agustin also introduced to us this one of a kind cold noodle dish called Cold Soba. This refreshing yet tummy-filling treat comes in four unique flavors that are sure to be loved by everyone! The Ten Zaru Cha Soba, the Kani Soba Salad, the Zaru Cha Soba (Green) and the Zaru Soba (Brown).

And finally, to answer the call for that most highly prized pork from Japan, Sumo Sam introduced to us their newest deep-fried masterpiece that's definitely adding crunch and more munch to your dining experience here at Sumo Sam - the Tonkatsu Kurobota.

Comes with unlimited rice and Japanese cabbage salad that tasted so heavenly, Tonkatsu Kurobota is perfect when dipped into this especially made sauce that you could only experience here in Sumo Sam.

And to top it all up, Sumo Sam ended their presentation with something that sure to leave smile on everyone's faces - DESSERTS.

Chocolate Ganache Cake
(with chocolate dipped oranges and wasabi ice cream)

Meringue with Avocado and Mango Coulis

For me, of course, nothing beats a delicious chocolate dessert, but wait til you get a taste of this meringue, because this will change how your look at avocado. That second dessert was simply irresistible!

Now that you got to know what's new from our beloved Sumo Sam, I guess, we'll just see each other there, all right?

Happy eating!
