Mexican Love at B & T Mexican Kitchen!

I never thought that there's this place in San Juan where they offer Mexican dishes that you'll enjoy to create and to eat! And that's where my feet and my hungry tummy led me last week - a place where the heart and hands of Filipino created some Mexican love in this Mexican Kitchen!

I think a lot of us had Mexican food and drinks before, and we all know that their dishes have something in common to Spanish Cuisine, but little we know, Mexican cuisine has this authentic flavors that are very close to our own cuisine... No wonder Family Tan braved in and took the plunge of having Burritos & Tacos Mexican Kitchen or simply B & T Mexican Kitchen here in our country. ^_^

A Taste of Cavite at Cavite Republic

Have you ever been in a restaurant where you enjoyed every thing that it's whole place has to offer? I mean its whole place, whole city, whole province?

If not, here is the moment where I can share to you how grateful I was I attending the the Enriching Cavite's Tourism at Republic of Cavite, Trece Martirez, Cavite last March 20.

With nothing but the best of the Province of Cavite, if it was my first to be in Cavite that day, I would believed that Republic of Cavite is Cavite's capital... Thank God I've been in Cavite a lot of times and I'm quite familiar with the province! ^_^

But with this Enriching Cavite's Tourism seminar, I was surprised to know that Cavite holds a lot more! Waterfalls, churches, markets... They have a great variety of tourist spots that local and international tourists would love to see, really!

Balut Substitute at World Class Persian Kabab

I'm addicted to "balut" these past few days and it came to the point that my nape started feeling numb and hurt at the same time, that's why my parents and siblings told me to stop eating "balut." Plus, I'm allergic to it, giving me rashes. Aw... :-(

Thank goodness, my blogger-friends invited me to dine at World Class Persian Kabab. Wee!

They have two branches as far as I know, one at Tomas Morato area and one in Ortigas Avenue, San Juan area. And since we were in Ronac Art Museum that day, we dined at San Juan.

Rowena's Cafe at Tagaytay

As promised, here's my blog about Rowena's Cafe.

Rowena's Cafe is considered as one of the popular "pasalubong" shops in Tagaytay City. Primarily, catering to our sweet tooth, Rowena's has also a line of delicious Pinoy finger foods that young and adults can enjoy.

Rowena's became popular because of their tarts. When I spent my weekend at Nurture Spa Village, one of the delectable desserts that I enjoyed and loved was the ube tart from Rowena's, that's why when we were about to leave Tagaytay, I asked our group to drop by at Rowena's to buy some "pasalubong".

Cafe Mesa at Clark, Pampangga

Located at Mimosa Leisure Park  at Clark, Pampangga, this simple yet very elegant European-inspired coffee house was our last spot for the 16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival trip we had last February 12, 2011 - Cafe Mesa.

If I'm not mistaken, this was one of the US Army houses during the World War time which was renovated and now caters to the gastronomic needs of our Air Force soldiers, their families and guests who spent some leisure time in the area.

El Kabayo at Clark, Pampangga

Part of the itinerary we had for our trip to the 16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival, which took place last February 10 to 13 at Clark, Pampangga, was to visit this Western-themed restaurant that my friend May Ann was bragging about to us for about for almost a year now - the El Kabayo.

Specifically located at Gil Puyat Avenue corner Panday Pira, Clark Freeport Zone, this is where we had our Western lunch before we hit the venue and see those flying light bulbs.
