Sarah Geronimo joins Jolly Good Times Teen Fair

If there’s one part of my childhood that I love to think over and over again, that’ll be the time when my Erpats and I had this bonding at Jollibee whenever I get good grades from school. And one dish that surely a big part of that is the Jollibee Jolly Hotdog.

Who doesn’t love hotdog sandwich, right? Fortunately to us, Filipino kids, we have Jolly Hotdog to comfort and give joy to our lives. No Filipino kid can say that he/she had a great childhood if he/she missed out Jolly Hotdog.

The Bloggers Yogurt Nation Invasion

It is always a joy seeing all the blogger-friends that I’ve met from previous events and more enjoy to meet new ones. It was always a party when we get-together sharing different stories and tips on how to improve one’s blog.

There are also times that all we do is sharing gossips from the blogsphere, which is kinda fun and at the same time an eye-opener. Hehehe.

So, this time, as we see each other again, our passion and our love for blogging brought us to Yogurt Nation! Wee!

Located at the Bonifacio Global City, Yogurt Nation is one of the newest names that are competing in the market of frozen yogurts or “fro-yo” to some.

XO Kitchen: Tasting Modern Chinese

If you are tired of having the same old, oily and greasy Chinese food, well, I’ve found a new place that serves that oily and greasy Chinese food in a new and unique way.

Guys, welcome to XO Kitchen!

XO Kitchen’s name comes from the XO Sauce, a dried scallop sauce that was very popular to Chinese even on the early days. According to one of XO Kitchen’s owner, Jan Vanliam Tan, the said sauce has become a part of family meal for a very long time that they decided to make for family consumption. And from then on, people started hearing about the sauce and the delicious dishes that his parents are making that’s why just a few months ago they opened their very first chain of restaurant, the XO Kitchen.

A Hearty Afternoon at Figaro Scout Magbanua

This was probably one of the best meet-and-greet-the-owner-of -the-place that I’ve been to. And to be honest, it was really a fun afternoon or should I say an unexpected-to-be-a-fun afternoon.

And to be honest to all of you, I didn’t write this blog because I was invited to the event. I wrote this blog because I wanna share to you all my wonderful afternoon with Dra. Linda Luz Amante, the franchiser of Figaro Scout Magbanua.

Flavors of Thailand: The Marriott Hotel’s Thai Food Festival

Happening from August 1 to 31, this Thai Food Festival entitled Flavors of Thailand will showcase the outstanding culinary talent of Chef Thanathorn Krobsuay of JW Marriott Bangkok at Marriott Café.

Brought to us by Marriot Hotel Manila and in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Embassy of Thailand and Thai Airways, they flew in one of Thailand’s best chefs to share with us Chef Thanathorn’s wonderful talent in cooking authentic Thai dishes and fill our tummies with nothing but Thailand’s best foods.

Price of this buffet is a little expensive, but one thing is for sure, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., you’ll get to indulge to the most appetizing and delectable dishes Marriott Café has to offer, in simplest form – eat all you can, and one I’m sure you’ll crave for is the Thai cuisine.

And last night, it was a pleasure to be one of the bloggers who got to attend Marriott’s Thai Food Fest.

As Marriott Café was addorned with some Thai artworks and as receptionist dressed in Thai outfits, we were treated to a sumptuous Thai feast that we will never forget.
