Taters Sandwich: Are You a Sandwicher?

While everyone is in Luneta screaming "No to Pork! No to Pork!", I and five of my friends are having a tasty non-pork meal in Trinoma that shares nothing but the most delectable chicken sandwich. Glazed in sweet and tangy honey mustard dressing, Taters' featured sandwich for the month of August - California Honey Chicken - is definitely something that all chicken sandwich lover should try now.

Available in ala carte and in combo meal, Taters' California Honey Chicken is simply different from the usual chicken sandwich that we have now in the market. Grilled to its tenderness but still keeping that tasty juice, the chicken in this sandwich is so divine that you won't be guilty having it from time to time.

Burger King's New: A More Fillet-vorful Chicken Sandwich

Just before Maring and Habagat submerged the whole Luzon to flood, a more fillet-vorful chicken sandwich is making its to way the taste bud of every lafanggero in the metropolis. And with its crispy and flavorful look sure to share to everyone that filling experience, Burger King Chicken Crisp Fillet Sandwich is a must-try this season!

From the original home of the Whopper comes juicier, more “FILLET-vorful” chicken sandwich in the market set to crave every Lafanggero's palette with it two variants everyone would love - the Chicken Crisp Fillet Garlic Mayo and the Chicken Crisp Fillet Honey Mustard.

Two of the country's most loved taste, I was able to indulge on these freshly prepared sandwiches last Saturday in Burger King E-Com Two in Mall of Asia Complex.

The hand-pressed, breaded and immediately deep-fried to transfat-free oil chicken fillets came juicy and tasty, just enough to give me that crunch I enjoyed in my every bite. The crisp, fresh and green lettuce added sweetness to the well-cooked chicken fillet. But what makes the whole experience really good was sauces that are generously smothered in every sandwich.

Vigan, a city of cobblestone, old houses, delicious empanadas, garlicky longganisas, crunchy bagnets, and many more - things that I will never get tired experiencing in this humble and peaceful place. And as I rediscover this humble town up north, Cafe Leon served as our relief and dining room away from home ready to fill one's tummy with the irresistible Ilocano dishes that are truly world-class.

It's More Fun to Eat With Friends in Zarzuela!

Other than its chic family-friendly ambiance, Zarzuela on the 6th Level, East Wing of Shangri-La Plaza in EDSA could also be a great venue for friends gathering that are sure to bring more color and life to this casual dining place. And a few days ago, together with some good friends from the blogging community, I indulged again into their amazing Filipino food that gave a delightful and fulfilling meaning to the word "play"

Carrying the title "Play on Filipino Flavors," Zarzuela gave a whole new meaning to the word that locals and tourists can definitely enjoy. From the rice dish, down to the chicken, pork, beef and seafood dishes that signify how abundant our country is, Zarzuela is definitely a must-visit place ready to share a modern twist to our all-time favorite meals.

Since some of us have been here before, including me, I opted to try something more to find out how good their dishes go. And so for our gathering, while some of us opted to have the plain white rice, there are some who tried their Chorizo Rice.
