It's Pig-Out Time at Nuvali

Nuvali, now being famous for its lush surrounding, giving balance to a healthy and active life, is now also considered as foodista's haven for sumptuous and unique food finds that offers the delicious meals of our country and of our world. But if you want something that's homey, don't worry, Pig Out is here ready to serve every family!

This one place in Nuvali that is open to serve you sumptuous happy meals is located at the Solenad near the lake. With a breathtaking view of the very peaceful Nuvali, one family can enjoy bonding and dining at this restaurant that offers familiar and homey dishes.

I had a chance to taste their delectable dishes last time, and  with a perfect "for sharing" meals, my friends who were all tired from the fun that we had that afternoon checking out Nuvali and actually starving due to the heat and exhaustion, we were able to quench our thirst and fill our tummies with their friendly prices.

To start off our adventure here, we order our own glass of fruit shakes to shake off the heat that we experienced outside.

Pig Out offers a variety of fresh fruit shakes that one can enjoy. Our group had these top two fruit shakes that we really enjoyed.

The Red Crab Series: John Bamboo - Nuvali

Though, only a few of us have tasted and really know that there’s an Indonesian Cuisine, I’m glad that I’ve got to experience my first try of their cuisine through the amazing creations and preparations of Chef Peter and Chef Nur of John Bamboo at Nuvali, Laguna.

Nuvali being now known as a place where people and nature thrive, it now offers the most delectable and satisfying yet affordable restaurants in the south  that you can really enjoy. With its breath-taking scenery and very relaxing atmosphere, Nuvali is a perfect choice to spend a weekend’s lunch or dinner with you family or friends.

And last week, as I was invited to have a taste of Indonesian dishes, I can truly say that John Bamboo and Nuvali is one of the dining experiences that I would love to do every weekend.

And to start off this dose of Indonesian dishes, let me share to you a little story on how did they came up with such an idea.

Rowena's Cafe at Tagaytay

As promised, here's my blog about Rowena's Cafe.

Rowena's Cafe is considered as one of the popular "pasalubong" shops in Tagaytay City. Primarily, catering to our sweet tooth, Rowena's has also a line of delicious Pinoy finger foods that young and adults can enjoy.

Rowena's became popular because of their tarts. When I spent my weekend at Nurture Spa Village, one of the delectable desserts that I enjoyed and loved was the ube tart from Rowena's, that's why when we were about to leave Tagaytay, I asked our group to drop by at Rowena's to buy some "pasalubong".
