Breakfast at Katz Diner, Maginhawa Street

Last year, I wish to have more time to explore the metropolis' best foodie places, and God is so good hearing my prayers letting me not just to explore but to indulge on the amazing dishes the metro has to offer. Special thank to Food Panda for hosting a super feeling "Food Crawl" at Quezon City's food haven, Maginhawa Street - one of the best that I've been to this year!

It was fine Saturday morning when we had the very first Food Panda Maginhaw Food Crawl. With a number of food bloggers with me, we explored the friendly neighborhood of Maginhawa Street, which is now famous for affordable, delectable and unique dishes.

We were schedule to have breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner that day, but since I have an appointment that night, I got to join the team until the second snack only, nonetheless, I left Maginhawa so full and so happy due to the fun bunch I'm with.

For our breakfast, the very first food joint that we got to visit, and one of Food Panda's newest affiliate is this place called Katz Diner.

Not really located along Maginahawa Street, Katz Diner can be found at #48 Malingap St. Sikatuna Village, Quezon City. A sweet nice place that offers all-day breakfast and some luscious desserts, Katz Diner may seem to be a little high-end when it comes to price, but I can guarantee you that the flavors are superb!

Grilled Pork Steak - Php260.00

We were offered four dishes, which can be considered breakfast and lunch meals. I must say that all of dishes that were shared to us look so appetizing. They look so glam and almost perfect to make it to the cover of food magazines.

The first meal that we got to try is the Grilled Pork Steak. A perfect pick-upper in the morning, this one will surely make your morning due to its wonderfully chosen ingredients like the pickled tomato, cucumber, carrot and turnip sitting beside the well-charred pork steak and white rice with egg on top.

The meal was courteously served with dipping sauce, which is perfect for the grilled pork steak.

The next meal that was shared to us is a bit simple. This time, hyped with our favorite tocino, Katz Diner offers Grilled Pork Tocino together with some pickled cucumber, a cup of rice and two eggs.

Grilled Pork Tocino - Php180.00

I'd say that I find this one a bit pricey. With its serving size and look, I'd rather have the next ite on this blog that this tocino meal - that is if you love longganisa like I do.

Longganisa - Php185.00

Not your typical longganisa, this one is a deconstructed kind, showing all the meat - and fat - that you could get in a longganisa. Served with scrambled egg, rice and salsa, this meal is one of my favorites that day - a must-try for those who are planning to visit this place.

But if that's not enough - if you want more -  then here's the ultimate meal that we had that morning. Spell indulgence!

Roast Pork Belly - Php280.00

Swimming in chimichurri sauce and butter, these roast pork belly meal comes with pickled cucumber, rice and egg - an ultimate breakfast treat that you could enjoy here at Katz Diner. You have to try this on your own to know what I'm talking about.

Lava Cake - Php100.00

Our morning ended sweetly at Katz Diner with this oozing Lava Cake.

Katz Diner has a lot more to offer and you can have them at the comfort of your home by logging on to Food Panda Philippines website, https://www.foodpanda.ph. You can also download Food Panda on you mobile phones - both Apple and Google Play.
