Bizu Celebrates 10 Years with Joie de Vivre

In every relationship that stays for a week, for a month, or for a year, we celebrate. We do that not just to look back at the memories we had, but also to welcome the many more glorious days or years that are coming.

And in celebration of one of most love pattisseries, Bizu Patisserie and Cafe invites everyone who loves happiness and photography at same time to join their 10th year anniversary photo contest. With 6 categories to join in to, this exciting contest is open to professional and amateur photographers. And it will run from August 15th to October 31st of this year.

I was one of the selected food bloggers who were invited to join their Bloggers' Night, which was held at Greenbelt 2 a few days ago and on that night we were treated to Joie de Vivre night that we didn't expect.

The sweet party started with a registration where each of us was given a Kodak disposable camera to use to capture the night's fun and excitement.

As everyone taken their seats, we were welcomed by Bizu Patisserie and Cafe's Aaron Tanco. Then after his short welcome remarks, together with Annie Tanco, Owner and President of Bizu Patisserie and Cafe, they introduced to us the 10th year offering of Bizu, the Joie De Vivre Photo Contest.

Joie DeVivre Photo Contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers who are 18 of age and are residing in the Philippines. As I've said this contest holds 6 categories in which each category should exemplify Joie de Vivre or The Joy of Living

The 6 categories of this contest is (1) I Love You Mommy/Daddy (2) We're in Love (3) Fun with Friends (4) Love ThySelf (5) Celebrating with Food and (6) Just Us Kids. One can submit more than one entry as long as they fill up one (1) release form for all the pictures that they are submitting

Bizu specified that the photo entries must be free from watermarks, borders and any other markings. And those photos must be unpublished and must not have been submitted and will not be submitted to any other contests.

Six grand prize winners will be awarded on this contest, one from each category. And these winners will each receive Php10,000.00 worth of Bizu Gift Certificate and a good-for-two-persons 3-Day, 2-night stay package at Vista de Laiya. Bizu Patisserie and Cafe will also award Php2,000.00 worth of Bizu Gift Certificates to the Top 24 Finalists of this photo contest. And lastly, since they are aiming it to be viral, one winner of People's Choice will also receive a good-for-two-persons 3-Day, 2-night stay package at Vista de Laiya.

To see the finalists and to know how to vote , you can check out Bizu Patisserie and Cafe's Facebook page.

After tackling that exciting contest, our good hosts filled our tables with delicious dinner set that we all enjoyed.

French Onion Soup

Truffle Salad

10-Hour U.S. Roast Beef

Trio Desserts
Macaron de Paris Lemon, Strawberry Chiboust, Opera Cake

It was my first time to dine here, and as expected everything was very sumptuous. The French Onion Soup was really, really, great! I didn't know that they make such wonderful dish here. The Truffle Salad was okay, I didn't manage to finish it since I enjoyed the soup so much. As for the Main Course, it was filling! The perfectly cooked U.S. Roast Beef made our nigh because that huge slab of meat really filled me up! And lastly, the Trio Desserts was just perfect to cap the night. Macaron de Paris is really the L-O-V-E!

As of now, Bizu Patisserie and Cafe has 5 branches. One here in Greenbelt 2, one in Glorietta 4, one in Promenade Greenhills, one in Alabang Town Center and one in St. Luke's Global City.

Bizu promises to open more branches in the coming years, but for now, they are just thankful for the love and loyalty they received and still receiving from their customers. Ten years in the business is not a joke after all. So, to Bizu, Sir Aaron and Ma'am Annie, god bless and more power!

Cheers for those wonderful 10 years and cheers for 10 or more years to come!
Congrats and thanks, Bizu! Happy eating, everyone! ^_^
