The Healthy Black

The misconception about black is slowly fading as fashion, tech and even start embracing the goodness about this color. And recently, at the newly opened S Maison Mall at Conrad Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, BLK 513 opens its newest branch offering the undeniably healthy and delicious signature black frozen yogurt.

A massing a cult-like following, BLK 513 is the newest dessert station available in the Mall of Asia Complex, which offers a unique frozen yogurt that’s enhanced with activated charcoal. Owned by Frost Five, Inc., BLK 513 shares a premium gluten-free yogurt imported from the U.S.

Say Hello to Ostrich Burger!

There are only three things that I'm looking for a burger - one, must have a nice bun; two, must have a tender, juicy and nicely cooked patty; and three, must fresh veggies and cheese for additional crunch and flavor. Well, I thought that's all I ever wanted for a burger until I tasted The Ostrich Farm's Ostrich Burger.

Nowadays, people are continuously craving for good burger. But unlike before, most of us are gearing towards having a gourmet one that offers healthier option - an option that opens an opportunity to friends-entrepreneurs Frances and husband-and-wife Kristine and Jaime to introduce ostrich burger.

A few days back, I had an eye-opening dinner with Ms. Frances and Ms. Kristine about the goodness of ostrich meat and how wonderful it can be a substitute to our well-loved beef burger.

1st Philippine Chocolate and Ice Cream Show

It is more on the business side than about the showcase of different chocolates and ice creams per se, but I still got to enjoy and learn something new about the industry of chocolate and ice cream making at the 1st Philippine Chocolate and Ice Cream Show.

Typhoon Basyang couldn’t stop this mouth-watering event as chocolate and ice cream aficionados and retailers conquered World Trade Center in Pasay City to witness this gathering of pots and pans, flours and sugars for the country’s first ever chocolate and ice cream expo.

From nuts, to wines, to soda and soda makers, to the displays of their sweet products, to the stuff that you can use for parties, basically, everything was at this expo.
