While everyone is going gaga over some franchised restaurant from other countries, here in Cubao, Quezon City, despite of its imported-sounding name, a new spot just opened and is now ready to offer fairly affordable and delicious Japanese favorites - Tokyo Joe.
Last October 11, I was invited to take part on the opening of this newest place in Cubao that you wouldn't believe started sharing its delectable meals in the Queen City of the South, Cebu. A brand that brought us Rai Rai Ken, Tokyo Joe is now here in Manila and ready to share its amazing selection of Japanese favorites starting with its California Maki, Kani Salad, Ramen, Gyoza and a whole lot more.
Mr. Joey Garcia, President and Owner of Tokyo Joe, welcomed and thanked everyone for coming to the opening of his latest project. He shared that having Tokyo Joe under the Rai Rai Ken umbrella would mean so much to their company as this one caters to every Pinoys craving for delicious and affordable Japanese dishes.

Eat All You Can at Sumo Sam Olympia
Yes, you are reading it very right! The 25th branch of our favorite modernized Japanese restaurant is ready to share us one amazing and truly delectable treat as they successfully open their branch in Makati City! Dubbed as Sumo Sam Olympia, which is located along Makati Avenue, is opening their doors with their very first Eat All You Can for Php499.00!
Indulge to the amazing modernized Japanese cuisines spearheaded by one of its owners, Marvin Agustin, into this newly opened branch that speaks of modernity, class and fun. This is actually not my first time to check the place out, since it is a bar before, but I must say that I am glad that they somehow keep that unique interior's look that added originality to brand.
For those who are wondering where is this new branch is located, well, it replaces the old Robot Bar, which right between Peninsula Manila and Somerset Makati Avenue. Sumo Sam Olympia is a stone-throw away from the luscious greenery of Ayala Triangle Garden, and it is currently operational from early morning til late night.

Miso Ten: A New Japanese Taste That I Love
The love of Filipino to authentic Japanese cuisine is indeed growing, and now with the addition of a place that offers delectable Ramen and Tempura dishes that is set to add excitement to every foodie in this nation, prepare for some hot and delicious offering from Miso -Ten!
Opened last year in a very typical Japanese way - quiet and subtle, Miso-Ten started offering their hot new dishes to the guests of Robinsons Magnolia in Quezon City and recently in Robinsons Manila with two of Japanese Cuisine's top most in-demand dishes, ramen and tempura.
And last week, despite of the scorching weather condition here in metropolis, I was able to find some comfort and soothness through some of their most delicious dishes.

Fish-Love at Fishman!
I'm really a meat person, but when a delicious fish dish is served to me, I try it and as much as possible is I try to appreciate it. I believe that one of the hardest main ingredient to cook is fish, and if I like a fish dish from a restaurant, I considered that place a great spot to eat.
And a few weeks ago, as I join my friends to try this new place in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, Fishman, I was welcomed by a summery vibe that made me excited and ticklish, because just thinking how summer never fails to excite the beach person in me, oh, I'm so excited too to try Fishman's offerings!
If you are thinking that this place is some fancy restaurant, you are wrong! With a fast food appeal, which has a huge impact and appealing approach to Filipinos, Fishman opens its first doors in Bonifacio Global City just a few months ago. With nothing but fish, fish and fish - and some seafood too - on their menu, one can indulge to an amazing array of fish-cooking style and flavor that comes in a very affordable price! Fast food, I told you! :-)

Drinks here at Fishman comes into this small fishbowl type, which to some may look unusual, but for me, I find it really cute! They offer here bottomless sodas and iced teas, but if you wanna try some house specialty, I suggest that you have their Red Sea Iced Tea or the Blue Ocean Iced Tea. Beers are also offered here, I'm just not that sure if it has time availability. :-)

The Sisig for the Vegetarians
They may not admit it, but I can feel how envy vegetarians are every time they hear the word "sisig" or see someone enjoying a sizzling plate of pork sisig with egg on top. Oooh, the smell, the craclking sound and the wonderful taste... I can't blame them.
Well, now, since I got a chance to visit the exhibit of Likha ng Central Luzon, lemme share to you, my dear vegetarian readers, this wonderful offering that came from the leading onion producer and main rice growing province of the country, Nueva Ecija!
